Bonnie + Alison

Bonnie Dennison and Alison Barton, a.k.a. BONABART, are a writing and directing duo based in Los Angeles and Austin.

They have written and directed award-winning short films and are successful commercial directors in the United States and Canada. Some of their most well known commercial campaigns have been for brands including Wendy's, Subway, Amazon, Spotify, and Liquid Death, featuring performers such as Mindy Kaling, Shaquille O’Neal, John Cena, Terry Crews, Megan Rapinoe, Ken Jeong, Sarah Hyland, and Martha Stewart (to name a few). They recently sold their feature film “Coming” to Amazon Studios, which they developed with Sue Kroll’s production company, Kroll & Co.

They are most happy when they are writing funny stories, devising ideas with like-minded creatives, adding an unexpected flair to advertising campaigns, and creating inventive content that “stops the scroll.” Mostly though, they are happiest when working together.
